A Nigerian man has shared a deeply emotional story on X (formerly Twitter) about his cousin who ended her five-year marriage after catching her husband cheating, only to regret her decision years later.
According to the narrator, the woman walked out of her marriage immediately after discovering her husband’s infidelity, ignoring pleas from family and friends to reconsider. She left with her two children and vowed never to return.
A Fresh Start That Quickly Faded
Her estranged husband reportedly spent months begging for forgiveness and visiting relatives to apologise, but she refused to accept him back. Determined to start afresh, she moved into her own apartment and began rebuilding her life.
Soon after, she entered a relationship with a married man who showered her with attention and affection — until his wife found out and ended the affair.
