Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rude Boy, has reacted furiously to a wild allegation made against him by a social media user.
A lady on 𝕏 alleged that the singer raped his house-help and sent his wife packing. The claim immediately sparked reactions online.
Responding to the allegation, Rude Boy issued a strong statement, vowing to deploy every necessary means, power, resources, and money to ensure the accuser faces the full wrath of the law.
In his words:
“I hardly reply!!! But you see this one!!! @chubbiedivah if you like go private, leave X!! I will find you, I will use every necessary means, power, resources and money!!! You will face the law, I will use you to set an example!! (scapegoat)… your only way out is to leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space.”
The singer thanked fans who drew his attention to the controversial tweet, stressing that the lady’s false accusation would not go unpunished.
Rude Boy Warns on Dangers of Social Media
Meanwhile, Rude Boy has also expressed concern about the misuse of social media in Nigeria.
According to him, while some netizens may think trending, clout-chasing, and reckless posting is harmless fun, it will eventually lead to regret and destruction.
Posting on his Instastory, the Reason With Me crooner wrote:
“Social media is going to destroy a lot of people… You might think it’s just cruise, clout, or to trend… Your eye go clear.”
