Afrobeats queen, Tiwa Savage, has broken her silence on her fallout with music star Davido, assuring him of her continued loyalty despite recent controversies.
Speaking during an interview on The Breakfast Club, Tiwa addressed her strained relationship with Davido, which dates back to January 2024, when she filed a petition against him for allegedly threatening her life.
The clash between the two music heavyweights started after Tiwa Savage shared a photo with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama, at the peak of the DMW boss’s child custody battle with Sophia.
The move, which many interpreted as taking sides, triggered tension between the two singers.
However, Tiwa Savage has now publicly assured Davido that her admiration for him remains intact.
“I haven’t spoken to Davido, but I do want you to know that I love you and I would never betray you or take side,” she said, emphasizing her respect for the ‘OBO’ crooner.
