The legal tussle in the Edochie family drama has taken a new twist as Yinka Theisen, former wife of actor Linc Edochie, has rejected a ₦500 million lawsuit filed against her by May Edochie, estranged wife of Nollywood star Yul Edochie.
According to the lawsuit, May accused Theisen of making defamatory posts on social media that allegedly damaged her reputation, triggered cyberattacks, and disrupted her personal and business life. May’s lawyers demanded a public apology and the payment of ₦500 million in damages within 48 hours.
But in a fiery response via Facebook, Theisen dismissed the claims as “baseless” and vowed not to pay a dime. Instead, she accused May of compromising her safety by allegedly publishing her private address online.
“Once again, May Yul Edochie has violated my privacy. Putting my address on social media. You are truly insane! You think you are the only one that can file a lawsuit? Be ready for a lifelong lawsuit,” Theisen wrote.
Theisen further hinted that she may launch her own legal action, signaling that the feud could escalate into a drawn-out court battle.
The dispute has gripped social media users, with many weighing in on the high-profile clash involving the Edochie family name, already embroiled in multiple controversies.
Observers say the case could become one of the most sensational celebrity legal battles of the year if it proceeds to court.
