The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has confirmed the arrest of six different syndicates involved in ‘one-chance’ robberies across Abuja. The FCT Commissioner of Police, Miller Dantawaye, disclosed this during an interview on Arise Television while addressing security preparations for the Yuletide season and beyond.
According to him, intensified patrols, continuous training, and the deployment of senior officers on the field until at least 6am have significantly improved security outcomes. He noted that these measures have led to the arrest of several suspects, either during operations or shortly after crimes were committed.
Dantawaye explained that investigations usually begin with one or two suspects before expanding to dismantle entire criminal networks. He assured residents that the command remains committed to sustaining peace and protecting lives and property across the FCT.
