The online feud between TikTok influencers Tunmise and his former girlfriend, Ivana, has taken another dramatic turn after Tunmise publicly denied allegations of abuse and infidelity, while making fresh claims about what he says led to the collapse of their relationship.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Tunmise responded to Ivana’s earlier accusations of cheating, verbal abuse and domestic violence, insisting that he made significant emotional and financial sacrifices to keep their relationship alive.
According to him, one of the biggest shocks came when Ivana allegedly travelled to Calabar to reunite with an ex-boyfriend—the same person she had previously spoken negatively about.
“I was trying to do better than her ex, but that was the same person she went back to,” Tunmise claimed.
The TikTok personality further alleged that he financially supported Ivana and several members of her family throughout their relationship. He claimed he spent N150,000 per day on a hotel where they stayed together for about three weeks in an attempt to resolve their differences, in addition to paying for shopping trips and other expenses.
Tunmise also alleged that after personally dropping Ivana at the airport for what he believed was a work-related trip to Calabar, he later received messages, photos and videos from another woman claiming Ivana had travelled to see her former boyfriend.
Despite the incident, he said he forgave her because her birthday was only weeks away.
Addressing criticisms over his use of offensive language during the relationship, Tunmise admitted calling Ivana insulting names but claimed it happened during repeated arguments over recurring infections they were both treating.
“We treat infection, treat infection, infection no gree go. Out of pain I called her a prostitute,” he said.
He also denied physically abusing Ivana, alleging instead that she assaulted him on several occasions. To support his claims, Tunmise displayed screenshots he said showed Ivana apologising for her behaviour and asking for reconciliation.
The latest exchange comes after Ivana admitted to cheating but claimed she did so after allegedly enduring repeated infidelity, verbal abuse and physical assault during the relationship.
Neither party’s allegations have been independently verified, and the dispute continues to generate intense reactions across social media.
