An emotional homecoming has captured the hearts of Nigerians after a young lady, who had spent 12 years abroad without visiting home, finally returned to surprise her family.
In the viral video circulating online, the woman—dressed casually in jeans—stood outside her father’s compound explaining her plan to walk in unannounced, with cameras ready to capture the priceless reactions of her loved ones.
When she eventually entered the living room, her unsuspecting parents were seated quietly. They exchanged pleasantries with her but, shockingly, did not recognize their own daughter.
The touching moment reached its peak when her brother, who had planned the surprise with her, asked their mother: “Mom, you mean you don’t know who this is?”
