A Nigerian man has recounted a miraculous escape from what could have been a deadly car accident, expressing gratitude to God for saving his life and those of his three friends.
Abner Aliu shared the shocking incident on Facebook on Sunday, September 7, revealing that the accident occurred the previous Friday while returning from a traditional wedding ceremony.
According to Aliu, the vehicle, carrying four occupants, collided with a pole and somersaulted, leaving the car severely damaged. Despite the severity of the crash, all passengers survived with only minor scratches. Aliu, who was seated in the front passenger seat, described their survival as nothing short of a miracle.
“So last Friday, myself and Baki (Sequel Photograph) and 2 other persons after a traditional wedding function around 12-1am, he needed to get something from SJ Deluxe and on our way back this happened. To the glory of God, we only had scratches.
“Being the person seated next to the driver at the front roll, that pillar could have either compressed me or hit my head, but I just want to thank God for everyone of us inside the car. It’s indeed a miracle,” he wrote.
Photos of the wrecked car shared by Aliu have since gone viral, with friends and well-wishers flooding the post with messages of congratulations and thanksgiving.
