The Nollywood industry has been thrown into mourning following the tragic loss of veteran actor Ibrahim Chatta’s son.
Chatta confirmed the heartbreaking news in an emotional Instagram post where he shared a photo of his late child. Though he did not disclose the circumstances surrounding the death, the actor’s caption reflected his grief and deep faith:
“Inna Lillahi wa inna ileyhi rajiun. Ya Allah, you are the knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”
The sad development comes just days after another Nollywood star, Peju Ogunmola, lost her only son, Ayomikun, in Ibadan after a brief illness — a double tragedy that has shaken the entertainment community.
