The Nollywood industry has been thrown into concern as popular actress Wumi Toriola was reportedly hospitalised after a heated online drama involving veteran actor and director, Afeez Owo.
The controversy began when Owo, husband of actress Mide Martins, spoke about Toriola’s role in a recent movie during an interview. Apparently dissatisfied, Wumi openly criticised his remarks, setting off a wave of heated debates across social media.

By Thursday morning, Wumi confirmed the pressure had affected her health when she shared a picture from her hospital bed, sparking worry among fans and colleagues.
