The founder of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries (TLCCRM), Pastor Lazarus Muoka, faces backlash after a former member claimed his sermon led her to leave her marriage.
In a video shared on X, the woman recounted her experience as a dedicated worker in the church’s “crowd control department” when a salvation message from Pastor Muoka shook her to her core.
She stated that the cleric proclaimed, “If you are a second, third, or fourth wife, pack your bags and go back to your father’s house… you are not married.” He cautioned men with multiple wives to “remove the second and third one,” asserting that only the first marriage holds validity before God.
Despite having no issues in her marriage, she said the sermon impacted her so profoundly that she left her husband. “My former husband did not do me anything. He did not beat me. He did not insult me. But because of the preaching of the pastor, I wanted to make heaven,” she recalled.
When she sought guidance from her branch pastor, he affirmed her decision and assured her that God would provide another husband. “Since then, I have been waiting. I did not see another husband. I left the church,” she lamented.
She expressed frustration over a pastor named Chigoze, who commented on her posts, saying, “akuna kuna, go and marry.”
Regretting her decision, she firmly attributed the destruction of her marriage to Muoka’s sermon. “Now that your pastor’s first wife and second wife have joined their ancestors, tell him to come and marry me, because he is the reason why I left my husband’s house,” she asserted.
Determined to share her story, she emphasized that many people remain unaware of the true reason for her departure from The Lord’s Chosen church. “This particular one hit me so hard… I am going to tell the reality that made me leave the church,” she concluded.
