The Centre for Leadership Legacy International (Centre LLI) has renewed calls on President Bola Tinubu to investigate allegations that could undermine the credibility of his administration, particularly claims of certificate irregularities involving the Minister of Interior, Olubumi Tunji-Ojo.
In a statement signed by its spokesman, Davies Isaiah Ijele, the civil society organisation expressed concern over the government’s silence despite sustained public demands for an independent probe. The group warned that perceived nepotism and selective justice could weaken public confidence in the administration’s anti-corruption stance.
Centre LLI also urged Tunji-Ojo to publicly clarify issues surrounding his WAEC certificate, noting that the examination body declined authentication requests under the Freedom of Information Act. The organisation insisted that transparency from the minister would help restore trust and avoid further controversy.

Claims of “certificate issues” against the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, remain unproven. As of today, there is no court ruling or official finding confirming any forgery or wrongdoing. Public discourse must be guided by verified facts, not speculation.
