A Nigerian mother of two has shared an emotional account of her life after her husband divorced her in the United States.
In a TikTok video posted via @Dupeolaofindy, the woman is seen crying as she reflects on the end of her five-year marriage.
According to her, she relocated to another state in Indiana with her two children, starting life afresh with just $3,000 (₦4.34m). She also revealed she is battling anxiety and depression, but remains hopeful about healing and rebuilding her life.
She advised couples to avoid marriage if they are not ready for genuine commitment, noting that divorce is a painful experience she wouldn’t wish on anyone.
Despite the trauma, she says she is focused on the future and becoming the best version of herself.
