“Blessing CEO Breaks Silence: It Was not Domestic Violence…”

Controversial relationship coach Blessing CEO has moved swiftly to correct the narrative after a viral clip over the past week stirred panic among her followers. The short video — which showed her upset and claiming to be “unsafe” prompted an outcry online that she was being assaulted by her partner, businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna (IVD).

Speaking to Sunday Scoop, Blessing explained the footage was linked to a robbery at her home, not partner violence. She said a young domestic worker employed as a housekeeper stole valuable items and sold some of their belongings. When IVD confronted the worker a physical scuffle ensued a moment that viewers online misread as abuse.

Blessing told reporters she removed the post at the police’s request to allow proper investigation. She also pushed back at the rush to judgment from social media, noting her partner’s controversial past had primed audiences to assume the worst. “People just love negative stories,” she said, insisting IVD “cannot beat me” and stressing she is capable of defending herself.

The coach maintained the escalation was between the worker and IVD and framed the episode as a criminal matter rather than domestic violence. Police involvement and the removal of the clip, she says, were meant to protect the integrity of the inquiry.
