Human rights activist Deji Adeyanju has joined the ongoing conversation surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage to billionaire politician Senator Ned Nwoko, following viral reports alleging domestic violence in their union.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Adeyanju shared a controversial opinion about the situation, suggesting that many women endure toxic and abusive relationships because of material desires and financial dependence.
According to him, women who live beyond their means or depend heavily on wealthy partners often find themselves trapped in cycles of emotional or physical abuse, unable to walk away due to the fear of losing comfort and luxury.
He wrote:
“Most poor and broke Nigerian girls with expensive taste have no option except tolerate shit from men. She will go back to him on her knees.”
