Nigerian senator and businessman, Ned Nwoko, has finally broken his silence over the alleged marital crisis with his Nollywood actress wife, Regina Daniels, addressing reports that have dominated social media in recent days.
In a lengthy post shared on his verified Instagram page on Sunday afternoon, the Delta North lawmaker claimed that the main cause of their marital problems is Regina’s alleged abuse of drugs and alcohol, denying allegations that he ever assaulted her.
“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” Nwoko wrote.
According to him, Regina’s behaviour has allegedly become violent and destructive, revealing that she attacked three domestic staff and damaged property, including vehicles and windows, within just 48 hours.
He further stated that despite arranging rehabilitation programmes for her in Asokoro and abroad, Regina refused to participate, opting instead to stay in a place where she could access drugs freely.
“She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here,” he said.
The senator also alleged that two individuals — Sammy and Ann — were Regina’s drug suppliers, accusing them of instigating chaos at his home.
He added that he had to take their son, Moon, to the hospital after an incident at home, alleging that Regina threatened a nurse who had exposed her alleged drug problem.
“While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,” his post read in part.
Nwoko’s statement follows a viral video of Regina Daniels appearing distressed and emotional, claiming she could no longer endure the violence in her marriage. Her brother, Sammy West, had also accused Nwoko of physically assaulting her.
As of the time of filing this report, Regina Daniels has not publicly responded to her husband’s allegations. The development has continued to generate intense reactions online, with fans and observers divided over who to believe.
