A Nigerian lady, Fola (@crownberrysicca), has sparked laughter across social media after narrating a shocking and hilarious encounter she had while taking a walk with her heavily pregnant friend, Blessing.
According to Fola’s viral post on X (formerly Twitter), a man called out to them while they were walking. Thinking he wanted to talk to either of them, they both turned around — but to her surprise, he signaled that he wanted to speak specifically with Blessing.
Out of curiosity, the pregnant woman approached the man, only for him to boldly ask her out.
“She told him, ‘I’m pregnant,’” Fola recounted. “And he said he’d wait for her to give birth and then marry her!”
The revelation left Fola in disbelief as she jokingly lamented that the man ignored her — the single one — to shoot his shot at her pregnant friend.
“Like bro, you didn’t see the single one right beside her? How are you attracted to a pregnant woman??” she wrote, adding crying emojis to express her shock.
The post has since gone viral, drawing thousands of reactions from Nigerians. While many found the situation absurd, others joked that “true love doesn’t care about trimester or tummy size.”
