Mr Macaroni Blasts APC, Says “They Now Practice Every Evil They Once Condemned”

Popular Nigerian actor and content creator, Debo Adedayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, has once again stirred the political space with a bold statement against the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Taking to 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Mr Macaroni reposted an old tweet made by Segun Dada, an aide to President Bola Tinubu, dated March 13, 2013. In the tweet, Dada had called for civil society organisations to protest the presidential pardon granted to criminals at the time.

Reacting to the old post amidst the recent outrage over President Tinubu’s decision to grant pardon to 175 individuals, including drug lords, kidnappers, and traffickers, Mr Macaroni wrote:

“Every evil that the APC once condemned, they now practice and support. APC is a party filled with the most corrupt people surrounded by the worst sycophants. A marriage of doom and misfortune! Tueh Kelebe!”

The statement has since gone viral, sparking heated conversations online about political hypocrisy and governance in Nigeria.

In a separate development, Nollywood actress Omotunde Sogunle, popularly known as Motunde from Mr Macaroni’s comedy skits, shared a painful personal experience.

Speaking in a recent interview, she revealed how she was once accused of being pregnant for Mr Macaroni and even alleged to have aborted the pregnancy — a story she described as “false and deeply hurtful.”

Motunde said the rumour caused her emotional pain at the time, but she has since healed and now laughs about it with Mr Macaroni. According to her, she learned an important lesson — to remain calm and not respond to every false story.

“Sometimes silence is the best response. The more you explain, the more life you give to the lie,” she said.
