The Kaduna State Police Command has announced that it will begin full enforcement of Vehicle Tinted Glass Permit Regulations on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in line with existing laws and federal directives.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, urged all vehicle owners and drivers with either factory-fitted or non-factory-fitted tinted glasses to comply by obtaining the required permit to avoid inconvenience with law enforcement officers.
Registration Process
Motorists are expected to complete either online registration or physical registration by providing:
- Vehicle particulars
- Proof of ownership
- Tinted glass specifications
The Police Command emphasized that the exercise is aimed at enhancing public safety and security across Kaduna State.
Sanctions for Non-Compliance
The statement warned that failure to comply will attract sanctions as provided by law.
The Police further assured law-abiding citizens of its commitment to maintaining a safe environment while urging continuous public cooperation and support.
