The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially opened its recruitment portal for ad-hoc staff ahead of the highly anticipated 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.
GoldenNewsNg reports that the recruitment exercise is part of INEC’s preparation to ensure a transparent, credible, and efficient electoral process.
According to the Commission, interested and eligible Nigerians are encouraged to submit their applications exclusively through the official INEC Pres Recruitment Portal (INECPRES) before the deadline.
📌 Available Positions
INEC listed the following categories of ad-hoc staff required for the exercise:
- Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs): For permanent staff on Grade Levels 10–14 from federal, state, and civil MDAs.
- Presiding Officers (POs) / Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs): For serving corps members, ex-corps members (within four years), INEC staff on GL 07–08, and permanent staff with OND or GL 07–10 qualifications from federal tertiary institutions.
- Registration Area Centre (RAC) Managers: Typically school or institution heads hosting RAC or Super RAC.
- RATECHS (Registration Area Technical Support Staff): Reserved strictly for INEC staff.

To qualify, applicants must:
- Not be members of any political party.
- Not openly promote or support any candidate or political party.
- Reside in the state of assignment (except RATECHS).
