Nigerian singer Lekan Osifeso Jr., aka Lojay, has cleared the air on widespread speculations linking him romantically with Folashade Adeleke, daughter of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and cousin to Afrobeats star Davido.
Speaking in a recent interview, the Falling crooner stressed that his relationship with Folashade is strictly friendship and nothing more.
“Fola is literally my best friend. From the very first day I met her, I just knew she was different. She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew, and she holds it down for everybody. Since then, we just clicked and have been good friends ever since,” he said.
Lojay further revealed that he is currently not ready to pursue a relationship, as he is focused on personal growth and healing.
“Unfortunately for me, I’m not ready for a relationship yet. Sometimes, people genuinely need time to heal from past experiences, and that’s where I am right now,” he added.
His clarification has stirred fresh conversations among fans, with many praising him for being open about setting personal boundaries.
