Social media activist Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has weighed in on the controversy surrounding allegations involving the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, urging security agencies to ensure the safety of Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi as public interest in the case continues to grow.

In a video shared on his X account on Friday, VeryDarkMan said his foremost concern was that nothing should happen to Adeyemi, who has been at the center of the controversy surrounding the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC).

His comments come after Adeyemi alleged that Gbajabiamila received ₦400 million through a proxy and demanded an additional ₦200 million in connection with securing his appointment. The Presidency has strongly denied the allegations, maintaining that the Chief of Staff neither issues government appointments nor signs official appointment letters.

Reacting to the unfolding developments, VeryDarkMan stressed that the allegations have attracted widespread national attention and deserve a transparent investigation.

“My first interest in this case is that I don’t want to hear that Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi died mysteriously,” he said in the video.

The activist further argued that it is the responsibility of Nigeria’s security agencies to guarantee Adeyemi’s safety while investigations continue, insisting that Nigerians deserve the opportunity to hear all sides of the story without interference or intimidation.

According to him, ensuring Adeyemi’s protection would help preserve public confidence in any investigative process and allow the truth behind the allegations to emerge through lawful procedures.

The controversy has continued to generate debate across political and social media circles, with opposition figures and civil society groups calling for independent investigations into the claims. Meanwhile, the Presidency has consistently dismissed the allegations against Gbajabiamila, insisting they are false and without merit.

As of the time of filing this report, no law enforcement agency has announced any criminal charges relating to the allegations, and no court has established wrongdoing by any of the individuals mentioned. Investigations, if any, remain ongoing.
