US Pulling Out Of NATO, WHO Not End Of Global Institutions – Diplomat

A top diplomat, Joe Keshi, has reassured that global organizations like NATO and WHO will endure despite the United States’ temporary withdrawal under former President Donald Trump.

Speaking on Arise TV’s ‘Prime Time’, Keshi explained that one nation exiting an international body does not signal its collapse. He highlighted that other countries, including China, often fill the vacuum created, ensuring continuity of global order.

Keshi criticized Trump’s inconsistent stance on multilateralism, noting his confusion over the UN and other global institutions. He expressed confidence that post-Trump America is likely to return to cooperative engagement, though global trust may be affected.

The diplomat emphasized the enduring necessity of organizations such as WHO, WTO, and NATO, asserting that multilateralism remains vital for global stability, regardless of temporary disruptions caused by individual nations or leaders.
