The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a strong warning to Nigerians to completely disregard viral online links and social media pages claiming to be its official membership registration platform.
In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC clarified that it has not launched any online membership registration portal. The party described all links currently in circulation as fraudulent and misleading.
ADC explained that work is still ongoing on its official registration and verification platform, which will be formally announced through verified party channels when ready. It further stressed that the party would never demand payments or request sensitive personal details such as PVC, BVN, phone numbers or bank information through unofficial links or messages.
Members of the public were urged to stay alert, avoid suspicious links, refrain from sharing unverified messages and report fake platforms through ADC’s official communication channels.
