Reports indicate Semenyo could undergo medical checks after Bournemouth’s Premier League clash with Tottenham, which may be his final appearance for the south coast club. Despite interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Spurs, City are believed to be the only club to have formally approached Bournemouth.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola admitted the Tottenham fixture could be Semenyo’s last, although he stressed that no agreement has been signed. The 24-year-old has enjoyed a standout season, scoring nine league goals and providing key assists, prompting City’s decisive move.
If finalised, the transfer would significantly boost Pep Guardiola’s attacking options as City chase further domestic and European success.
