Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, has sparked fresh political conversations ahead of the 2027 general election following the appearance of campaign-style posters across major streets in Kaduna.
The posters, bearing Amaechi’s image, describe him as “the only person to be trusted” and “the only man for the job,” with messages promoting unity, equality, stability and development. They were spotted at strategic locations including Ahmadu Bello Way, Ali Akilu Way, areas around the Kaduna State Government House, and the Kawo Bridge axis towards Zaria.
The displays drew public attention, causing motorists and pedestrians to slow down, especially around Kawo Bridge where traffic briefly eased.
Amaechi, a former Rivers State Governor and APC presidential aspirant in 2022, has not officially declared interest in the 2027 race, despite the growing speculation.
