Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North, has criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC), questioning his ability to lead the nation. Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Oshiomhole said Atiku’s long tenure in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) failed to stabilise or strengthen the party, weakening his claim to fix Nigeria.
Oshiomhole recalled Atiku’s exit from the APC after failing to secure the presidential ticket, arguing that Atiku’s political moves have been self-serving. “If Atiku could not build PDP, he cannot fix Nigeria,” he said.
The former APC National Chairman also criticised former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, over poor judgment and misplaced priorities, particularly in the Rivers judiciary and railway projects, highlighting governance issues under previous administrations.
