Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Elizabeth Oloruntola, popularly known as Zita, has revealed that she has finally reconciled with her parents after years of estrangement.
During a livestream session with fans, the reality TV star shared that her parents have not only forgiven her for absconding from home but are now proud of her new celebrity status.
Recall that during the premiere of the show, Zita disclosed that she ran away from home and her parents were unaware she had auditioned or joined the reality TV competition.
“I met with my parents recently, and they were very proud of me. My dad was even boasting to his staff that his child is now a celebrity,” Zita said cheerfully.
She added that her parents expressed pride in her achievements, especially her feat of winning the Head of House title twice during her time in the BBNaija house.
“Reuniting with my family was fun. We were just chilling and gisting. My mum also forgave my past rebellion,” she added.
Zita promised to share more updates as her relationship with her family continues to improve, noting that the reunion has brought her peace and renewed motivation.
