Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as an “angel sent by God to fix Nigeria.”
Bello made the statement on Saturday during an endorsement rally held for both President Tinubu and Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, where he praised Tinubu’s leadership and reform efforts.
Addressing supporters, Bello said Nigerians had long prayed for a “new Nigeria,” insisting that Tinubu’s policies are laying the foundation for national transformation.
He pointed to the removal of fuel subsidy, introduction of student loans, floating of the exchange rate, and other reforms that he claimed have boosted both government and individual wealth.
“We have been praying for a new Nigeria. God has finally answered us through President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is the angel sent to fix this country,” Bello said.
The former governor urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive, stressing that the nation’s turnaround would not happen overnight but through consistent reforms and collective faith in leadership.
