Nigerian actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod has stirred heated debate after declaring that women cheat just as much as men — only that they are more discreet about it.
In an interview with actress Biola Bayo, Afod argued that DNA testing has exposed women as frequent culprits in infidelity cases. He went further to criticize the use of sex toys, particularly dildos, likening them to “idol worship.”
“I believe women cheat just as men, only that they are smarter. Immediately a man cheats, the wife will notice. But with DNA, we see that many women are also guilty. Women even go as far as keeping multiple dildos. Is one not enough? Buying one already shows in your heart that you’re worshipping an idol,” Afod said.
Despite his controversial remarks, Afod took time to celebrate his wife, Desola, acknowledging her resilience and dedication to their marriage. He admitted that their union, like many others, faces challenges, but credited her as the foundation of their home.
“Any home that survives the test of time, it’s the woman holding it down. My wife and I have our issues, but I must tell her today — she’s the best woman ever,” the actor added.
His comments have since sparked conversations online about fidelity, gender roles, and the complexities of modern relationships.
