A woman has faced widespread condemnation after evicting her seven-year-old house help in the middle of the night due to a missing N500.
A viral video circulating on social media shows a good Samaritan discovering the young girl alone on the street with a “Ghana must go” bag containing her clothes and belongings.
Upon finding the child, the Samaritan offered to take her back to her aunt, who had sent her away. When they arrived at the gate, the Samaritan knocked, and the gateman allowed them entry. The woman requested to see the madam, who welcomed them inside.
As they entered the tiled compound, the madam was taken aback to see the child with a stranger and asked, “Who are you?” The Samaritan explained that she had found the girl on the road.
However, the madam immediately confronted the girl, demanding to know where the N500 she had given her was. In a fit of rage, she slapped the girl and threatened, “If you don’t provide the N500, I will kill you. I will send you back to your father.”
The good Samaritan urged the madam to calm down as the video abruptly concluded.
