Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has reacted to the renewed political face-off between FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, describing it as an endless drama.
In a post on X, Sani likened the ongoing dispute to a “Tom and Jerry series,” highlighting the recurring nature of the conflict.
The clash intensified after Wike warned that open support for President Bola Tinubu, including public loyalty chants, would not automatically secure a political ticket in 2027. This followed claims by Fubara that Wike was not clear in his support for the president.
Wike further stated that several factors would determine his backing for Fubara’s re-election, stressing that trust and effective cooperation with Rivers State lawmakers remain key considerations.
