Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has revealed why his relationship with Governor Alex Otti has broken down. Speaking in Igbere, Kalu said he once regarded Otti as a friend and deliberately avoided criticising his administration.
According to him, the fallout began after the governor’s media aide publicly attacked him over his decision to support President Bola Tinubu and the APC. Kalu described the criticism as unwarranted, insisting that party loyalty should not attract hostility.

Oance, alleging that ongoing projects were mainly rehabilitations of roads built during his tenure. The Orji Kalu Otti fallout, he said, was triggered by provocation and not personal ambition.
