A UK-based Nigerian woman, Yvonne Funmi, has set social media abuzz with her controversial claims about the sexual preferences of Nigerian men and women.
In a post shared on Facebook, Funmi alleged that 98% of Nigerian men enjoy sex with more than one partner and love threesomes. She further claimed that only 10% of Nigerian women are straight, insisting that the majority fall under bisexual or lesbian categories.
Her post read: “98% of Nigerian men love 3sum. 50% of Nigerian women are bi-curious, 40% are lez, while the remaining 10% are straight. But we are not ready for this conversation.”
The statement has since gone viral, drawing widespread criticism and heated debates. While some dismissed her statistics as baseless, others argued that she was simply voicing out realities people are often reluctant to discuss publicly.
