Popular social media commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has stirred significant controversy with his sharp reaction to a viral emotional video posted by Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.
The actress, in a now-widespread clip, was seen in a state of profound distress, breaking down in tears as she spoke about her mental and emotional struggles. She expressed feeling overwhelmed, stating, “I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense.” Daniels also alluded to an ongoing issue concerning her brother’s situation, which she indicated was a source of constant anxiety.
However, in a harsh critique, VDM interpreted her emotional display as evidence of a deeper issue. After watching the video, he asserted, “…now I believe Ned Nwoko that she is into drugs. She was so disorganised. She said a lot without saying anything. That is a typical drug addict.”
VDM further called for intervention, suggesting that people close to her should advise her to enter a rehabilitation centre. He referenced a past statement from her mother to bolster his claim, concluding that the actress appeared “not stable” and “was not coherent” in her video.
This reaction has sparked a fresh wave of online debates, dividing netizens between those concerned for the actress’s well-being and those dissecting VDM’s controversial diagnosis.
