Popular Turkish football commentator Veli Yigit has predicted that Victor Osimhen will record the best season of his career with Galatasaray, describing the Nigerian striker as being in his “updated prime mode.”
Speaking to Habersarikirmizi, Yigit praised Osimhen’s exceptional form and mental focus, noting that the Super Eagles star has become even more dangerous in front of goal this campaign.
“Osimhen has unlocked his updated prime mode. When the season is over, everyone will probably say, ‘This was Osimhen’s best season yet,’” Yigit said.
“He’s mentally very focused, physically very strong, and completely focused on helping his club succeed internationally. And let’s not forget he’s also preparing for Nigeria.”
Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, had a record-breaking run last season, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists in 41 games, surpassing Mario Jardel’s long-standing record at the club.
This season, the 26-year-old has already netted five goals in eight matches across all competitions and remains one of the most talked-about players in the Turkish Super Lig.
