As of September 30, the rates at the Lagos Parallel Market, also known as the black market, show that players are selling a dollar for ₦1510 and buying at ₦1490, according to sources from Bureau De Change (BDC).
It is important to note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market. The CBN has advised individuals seeking to engage in foreign exchange to approach their respective banks for transactions.

- Selling Rate: ₦1510
- Buying Rate: ₦1490
In contrast, the CBN rates for the dollar to naira are as follows:
- Highest Rate: ₦1480
- Lowest Rate: ₦1470
