Tinubu Attends Abuja Wedding As Imam Offers Special Prayers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday attended a multiple wedding ceremony involving ten children of the Minister of State for Defence, Mohammed Bello Matawalle, held at the National Mosque in Abuja.

During the wedding fatiha, the officiating Imam, Prof. Luqman Zakariyah, offered special prayers for President Tinubu, describing him as “a father of all.” He prayed for good health, long life and wisdom for the President, asking that his administration restore hope and prosperity to Nigerians.

The Imam also prayed for peace, unity and divine blessings upon the newly married couples and their families.

At the ceremony, Matawalle gave out five daughters and five sons in marriage, marking one of the largest family wedding ceremonies witnessed in recent times at the National Mosque. President Tinubu formally received the brides into the Matawalle family on behalf of the parents.

The high-profile event attracted top dignitaries, including the President of São Tomé and Príncipe, governors, lawmakers, service chiefs, diplomats, traditional rulers and religious leaders.
