Popular Nigerian TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has announced his admission into a private university in Lagos to study law, addressing critics who have long mocked his educational background. Sharing the news on social media, Peller showcased himself entering a campus building with a statue of justice, symbolizing a fresh start in his academic journey.
In the video, he declared, “Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated… Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school. I’m now studying law, you can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law.”
Peller has faced repeated online ridicule for his alleged lack of formal education and poor spoken English. Earlier this month, he revealed plans to pursue higher education to improve his English and career prospects. The TikToker has also been in the spotlight after a controversy involving American streamer IShowSpeed during the latter’s visit to Nigeria.
