The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested a 28-year-old man, Salisu Abdu Adam, for allegedly defrauding a married woman of ₦1.8 million using local charms.
According to NSCDC spokesperson Ibrahim Abdullahi, Adam—an indigene of Garko LGA residing in Kawo, Nassarawa LGA—tricked the victim by making ghostly promises of wealth, success, and improved education.
Investigations have been concluded, and the suspect will soon be arraigned in court to face justice.
