Residents of Anambra State have been left in shock after a self-proclaimed native doctor, Anagbo Emeka, confessed to buying used male condoms from prostitutes for ritual purposes.
Emeka, who hails from Umugbo in Ayamelum Local Government Area, was reportedly apprehended by youths in Echara community, Awka North, after suspicious activities drew attention to him.
The incident came to light when a viral video, shared by Dr. Uche Nworah on Facebook, captured the moment the suspect openly admitted to the bizarre act.
In the footage, Emeka confessed:
“I agreed with her to sell me used condoms. She delivered them, but later reported me. That is the wrong thing I did.”
He disclosed that he struck a deal with a commercial sex worker who supplied him with used condoms collected from brothels. However, the arrangement collapsed when the woman allegedly betrayed him and exposed the secret.
Further revelations showed that the fetish items were allegedly used in preparing charms for witchcraft, conflict resolution, land disputes, and even cases involving the police.
“I use the condoms to prepare charms for witchcraft, conflicts, land disputes, and even police case,” Emeka said.
The shocking confession has since sparked outrage and debate across social media, with many residents demanding a thorough investigation into ritual practices involving commercial sex workers in the state.
