A Nigerian lady has stirred heated conversations online after accusing a bride of imposing extra financial burdens on her bridesmaids just days before the wedding.
In a viral video, the bridesmaid revealed that the bride allegedly asked her bridal train to contribute money for a luxury hotel suite — all in the name of better wedding pictures.

The lady lamented that she had already spent significantly on aso-ebi, designer heels, matching handbags, transport, gifts, and even mint notes for spraying at the ceremony. Adding hotel bills to the list, she said, was simply unfair.
She described the demand as inconsiderate, stressing that weddings should be planned within budget instead of pushing financial strain onto friends.

According to her, friendship should not mean financial slavery. After the fanfare, the bride moves into her new marital home, but bridesmaids often return to normal life broke and exhausted.
She insisted that weddings should reflect the couple’s financial capacity, not become a burden on friends.
