Popular Nigerian skit maker and streamer, Shank Comics, has dismissed speculations of rivalry between himself and fellow content creator, Peller.
Shank addressed the issue while appearing on Isbae U’s podcast, Curiosity Made Me Ask, where he spoke openly about his relationship with Peller.
Gistreel recalls that Shank recently launched his streaming career at Kai Cenat’s Streamer University in the United States, a move that immediately drew comparisons with Peller, who has been in the streaming space much earlier despite being younger.
Shank: “No bad blood, no rivalry”
Reacting to the perceived rivalry, Shank clarified that there is no animosity between him and Peller. According to him, while comparisons are bound to happen in the industry, it does not translate to enmity.
“Peller is my brother and my senior colleague. This has nothing to do with age,” Shank explained, stressing that he respects Peller’s experience in the streaming business.
The comedian further revealed that he and Peller maintain a cordial relationship and frequently interact, describing their bond as more of brotherhood than competition.
This statement finally puts to rest rumors of any rift between the two fast-rising digital stars.
