Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State has pledged to follow the instructions of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, concerning the 2027 elections.
APC Chairman, Rejoice Otobo, assured Wike during his “thank you” visit on Sunday that the people of the LGA would fully support him. He said, “Wherever you ask us to go, there we shall go; whatever you ask us to do is what we will do.” PDP counterpart, Ikechukwu Obuzor, also pledged loyalty to Wike, praising his developmental impact in the area.
House of Representatives member Victor Obuzor and local council chairman Chita Eugene lauded Wike’s leadership, emphasizing the transformative projects he brought to Rivers State. The Seyi Tinubu Support Group also declared support for Wike and President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Wike highlighted that his visit was to thank constituents for their support in 2023 and stressed the need to correct leadership mistakes in Rivers to restore the state’s political prominence ahead of 2027.
