A Nigerian car hire operator who recently accused Nollywood actress Regina Daniels of owing him ₦570,000 has confirmed that the debt has now been fully settled.
The businessman, identified on TikTok as @mroluseyi, operates Ronaldo Logistics and Car Hire Service in Abuja. He previously went viral after alleging that the actress used his vehicle and driver for several days but failed to complete payment for the service.
In a new video shared online, the operator joyfully announced that Regina Daniels has finally cleared the outstanding balance. He thanked everyone who tagged or reached out to the actress, saying their intervention helped resolve the issue.
“Regina Daniels has finally paid my money. Thank you very much for your concern. This is Ronaldo Logistics and Car Hire Service. I thank everybody for what you people have done for me,” he said.
Addressing the controversy, the businessman clarified that his earlier video was not an attempt to embarrass or tarnish Regina Daniels’ reputation. He explained that he only went public after multiple failed attempts to reach her and her personal assistant, who had both blocked his calls and messages.
“Nobody paid me to tarnish anyone’s image. I came online because every other means of contact failed. As a businessperson, I only came out to demand what was rightfully ours,” he stated.
He emphasized that the matter was strictly business-related and had nothing to do with Regina Daniels’ marriage or personal life.
The car hire operator concluded by urging Nigerians to respect small business owners who work hard to earn a living.
“Now that the payment has been made, we’ve moved on in peace. Let’s always remember to treat small businesses with fairness. We work hard for every kobo we earn,” he added.
The incident has since sparked conversations online, with many users commending both parties for resolving the matter amicably.
