Portable Declares US Soldiers Will Not Return Home if They Invade Nigeria

In a viral TikTok live session that has set social media ablaze, controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has issued a stark warning to the United States.

This comes as a direct response to former US President Donald Trump’s recent threat to invade Nigeria over the persistent killings of Christians.

The ‘Zazuu Zeh’ crooner, during a conversation with a Nigerian-born US soldier, sternly advised American forces against underestimating Nigeria’s resilience. He insisted that any such invasion would end in disaster for the foreign troops.

“If US soldiers invade Nigeria, they won’t go back home,” Portable declared with conviction. “You see all those Boko Haram people you’re hearing about? They are people’s fathers, brothers, and husbands. Most of them joined because of hunger.”

Delving deeper into the complex issue of terrorism, the singer alleged that insurgent groups in Nigeria are backed by powerful figures. He claimed these groups have “sponsors among the elites,” both within and outside the country, suggesting the fight is more intricate than it appears.

The clip of his remarks spread like wildfire across platforms, triggering a wave of humorous reactions from netizens. While many laughed at his delivery, the underlying message sparked serious conversations about national sovereignty and the nation’s security challenges.
