Activist Deji Adeyanju Counsels Viral Sensation Peller, Urges Him to Pursue Legal Education
In a move blending mentorship with stark advice, prominent Nigerian activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju has publicly counseled TikTok personality Habeeb “Peller” Hamzat, urging him to prioritize formal education to secure his future.
This counsel follows recent online controversies involving the young content creator. Adeyanju acknowledged Peller’s significant financial success and fame garnered from social media but stressed that these achievements are not a substitute for the foundational value of formal learning.
He asserted that education is crucial for the streamer’s personal growth and to ensure his long-term relevance beyond the fleeting trends of digital platforms. Adeyanju proposed that combining his online career with academics would bring balance and intellectual depth to his public persona.
Specifically, the activist recommended that Peller consider pursuing a degree in Law. He elaborated that the discipline of legal studies would sharpen his reasoning abilities and equip him to better navigate the complex legal and ethical responsibilities that come with his growing influence.
Adeyanju, however, added a crucial prerequisite, stating, “Let me suggest that he considers a degree in law but he must get a credit in Literature in English first.”
