Former Turkish referee, Ahmet Çakar, has praised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for his exceptional professionalism and competitive spirit, describing him as one of the most disciplined players at Galatasaray. Speaking on Libero TV, Çakar said Osimhen’s work ethic, focus and desire to win set him apart from many players in Europe and Turkey.
He noted that the Nigerian forward takes his responsibilities seriously, demands high standards from teammates and never treats matches lightly. According to Çakar, Osimhen’s influence goes beyond goals, as his effort and determination remain consistent even on difficult days.
However, the former referee also warned about the striker’s emotional intensity, suggesting that while it fuels his performances, it can also make him unpredictable when pushed too far. Osimhen underlined his importance again on Saturday night, scoring in Galatasaray’s 3–1 victory over Fatih Karagümrük.
