Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has strongly criticised Senator Ned Nwoko over his public allegations against his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels. Onuoha reacted to statements from Nwoko’s media team, which denied domestic abuse claims and alleged substance misuse by Regina, insisting that the senator had encouraged rehabilitation and therapy.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Onuoha described Nwoko’s actions as disturbing and unbecoming of a public figure. She argued that the senator’s persistent online attacks and character accusations reflect deeper psychological issues, insisting he needs rehabilitation more urgently than Regina.
Onuoha warned that publicly labelling a young woman with damaging claims could have serious consequences and called on Nigerians to pay attention to the power imbalance involved. She stressed that Regina had the right to walk away from a relationship she no longer wanted and urged Nwoko to stop what she termed a campaign of intimidation and defamation.
