Popular Nollywood actress and film producer, Bukky Amos-Bello, has announced the passing of her beloved father, Olaniyi Mofolorunsho Amos.
The actress broke the news in an emotional Instagram post on Monday, October 6, 2025, where she shared a heartfelt tribute alongside a photo of her late father.
In her post, Bukky described her father as her “forever ajitannawo,” hailing him as the best father, grandfather, and great-grandfather anyone could wish for. She reminisced about his love, guidance, and the promises he kept until his final days.
According to her, her father had vowed to live long enough to see her become a grandmother — a promise he fulfilled before his passing.
“The sparkles in your eyes when I gave you the news… Thank you for sharing your last moment with me. I’ll forever cherish those eyes that were wide open just for me,” Bukky wrote.
In a deeply emotional tone, she expressed how his death has left her shattered, yet comforted by the thought that he lived a full and faithful life.
She continued, “Today, Monday, 6th Oct 2025 @8.25am, my clock stopped, my mirror was shattered, my first love, my forever love, my world, my supporter, my role model, babami… Sleep tight, Babami. O daaro babami Alamu… I will always love you.”
